The Pine Bluff Commercial Pine Bluff, AR May 11, 2006 Peggy Palmertree April 10, 1938 May 9, 2006 Peggy Hegwood Palmertree, 68, of Pine Bluff, died Tuesday. She was born April 10, 1938, at Kosciusko, Miss., a daughter of the late Grover Hegwood and Katie Kellum Hegwood. She was reared and educated at Zama, Miss. She was a graduate of Zama High School. She worked for several years at Pinecrest Cotton Mill. She retired as a seamstress after eight years with Aramark Uniform Services. She was a Baptist. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Hegwood. Survivors include one son, Charles Palmertree of Pine Bluff; one sister, Dorothy Dobbs of Hudson, Fla.; and one grandchild whom she raised, Charley Palmertree of Pine Bluff. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery with Don Nobles officiating. Arrangements are by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
