Lillie Mae Kennedy Walker was Lisa's great-aunt. All these have a common ancestor in Joseph Andrew Kennedy and Nancy Elizabeth Lambert. Joseph David and Nancy Elizabeth Lambert Kennedy had 10 children, three of whom were: Benjamin Huston Kennedy, Lillie Mae Kennedy and Edward James "Ed" Kennedy. Benjamin Kennedy was Amy Jewell Kennedy's father (great-grandfather of Lisa). Lillie Mae Kennedy was Benjamin Kennedy's sister (Lisa's great-aunt). Ed Kennedy was Lillie and Benjamin Kennedy's brother. He married Grace Louise Palmertree and was a minister. (Lisa's great-uncle). Ken

"Mac" McElroy, 89, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009, in Greenwood, Mississippi at home with his family. Mr. McElroy was born 30 November 1919, in Ethel, Mississippi to Mr. and Mrs. Walter McElroy. He served honorably in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II. He attained the rank of staff sergeant as an aircraft mechanic. Mr. McElroy founded MC's parts in Greenwood in 1962. Mr. Mac was a fixture in downtown Greenwood, having kept his store at the same downtown location on Carrollton Avenue for over 45 years. He is preceded in death by his son, Gary Julius McElroy; granddaughter, Lindsey Sue McElroy; and his second wife, Lorraine McElroy. Ken ---------------------------------------- Oliver Funeral Home Online Obituaries Winona, MS Kenneth McEachern (August 24, 1921 - January 14, 2009) Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth McEachern of Vaiden will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, at Oliver Chapel in Winona, with interment following in Midway Cemetery near Vaiden. Rev. Morris Taylor will officiate the services. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, from 5:00 until 8:30 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home. Mr. McEachern died of heart failure at his residence on Wednesday, January 14, 2009. He was 87 years old. Mr. McEachern was the son of the late Daniel and Julia Ross McEachern. He was a retired U. S.     3. It's about 50 here this morning, but it's going to get up to about 60 later today. They are predicting a cold night with frost possible even in the coastal areas where I am. I will have to get out and cove the tomato plants tonight and tomorrow night. The strawberry growers will have a bad couple of nights....hope it doesn't do too much damage. We've had earlier than usual strawberries here at pretty low prices. Hate for that to change.
