Hey All, This is a question for the group. Does anyone know how to get in contact with any of the children or grandchildren of Virgil Lee and Amy Jewel Kenedy Palmertree? I do know that there are family in Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Arkansas, Washington & Okaloma. Could any one please help me get in contact with any other members of thier children.
I want to think Grace told me, her & Ed lived across from Mark McElroy's house now. They sure did move around alot back then. Peggy, Ed, Grace and family lived across the road from my family for a year or two in the mid 40"s... They also lived in a small house for a while near where Larry Palmertree now lives... That's before they moved to Charleston. I went with Jackie, Lottie Tindoll, and family to see them once while they were there. I think that Jackie bought a new car with some of the insurance money that they got when Calvin got killed??? Calvin was killed 20 Oct 1948... Oh and thanks to you too, Ken! I just had not read your email yet when I wrote my reply. Mother told me a long time ago that she used to love to hear the Kennedy family singing while they were outside. Did they live close to where Grandpa Kelly and Grandma Erma lived?
Thanks Peggy ! I figured that she was most likely kin to Aunt Lillie. We have another list member that I'm kin to by marriage.

Ed & Grace lived about 2 house passed us. That is, when you come up my drive, go thro. the gate & they lived in the second house. So they could have been singing in the field near Kel & Erma & could here them. Jewel & husband lived near where Mrs. P'tree's house is. > Oh and thanks to you too, Ken! Hurston Kennedy is buried at Bethany. I can't get out of Basil where all the Kennedy's lived. I know that Ed loved to sing & his daughters could really do some singing. So I believe the Kennedy's at one time live any where between Poplar Creek & Attala Co. ----- Original Message ----- From: <bkgagent@bellsouth.net> To: <palmertree@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, January 18, 2009 1:54 PM Subject: Re: [PTREE] New List Member! > Oh and thanks to you too, Ken! It sure was pretty there, warm, hot and cool each day. Grandson Curt's graduation from Marine Boot Camp was very moving, it was great to see him again, plus John & I stayed with David & Georgia along with their sons Dustin and Brandon so that was great fun. It was like I ate LaJolla!!! Starting out with Georgia grilling a salmon on Wed night and ending Friday night with great shrimp pasta while we along with Curt enjoyed Dustin playing guitar & singing at open mike night. He is a highschool senior this year. Oh yes, I even managed to get one of my favorites for lunch one day, a fish taco. Love em! It was like they say on cruises, I flew in as a passinger but came back as cargo!! and Miss Peggy I couldn't download a pic of you in short shorts, even if I had one, I'm having troubles with everything after I changed over to Hughes.net./upgraded AOL or something.
