Peggy, about those spiders and snakes, I will probably die from inhaling Joe's spider/bug dust than from a spider bite, as for the snakes, he has screenwire over air vents etc. The door closes quite tightly so I'm not too worried about snakes. But if you hear that I died during some storm, you'll know there was a snake in there. I hate those things!! Nova . **************Nothing says I love you like flowers! Find a florist near you now. Hi All, Thanks O.D. for checking on us. My cell and house phone rang at the same time, one was O.D. and the other was Joe's sister Dorothy from KY. I didn't realize the wide coverage of this week's OKC & Lonegrove storms. My nephew read in the NY Times about a Joe Hornback in Lonegrove talking to the newsperson about the storm. Our daughter called teasing Joe about our kids having a brother in Lonegrove. I did email our kids but I guess we are so used to storms, warnings, watches etc here that we didn't think about letting anyone else know that we hadn't been blown away. Joe's received calls from several of his brothers and sisters and I've gotten emails from the rest of them. He has nine siblings left. Our son David in Southern Calif replied, "I don’t how you can live with those tornados, I prefer wildfires, earthquakes, landslides and tsunamis." He's always funny! We actually live between SE OKC and Norman in the country. Joe and I were both in Norman when all this was going on. I was volunteering at the research center, not one of the experts, they also need people to shelve the books, copy funeral home records, data processing, etc. Nice place to volunteer. We just asked about the safest place in the building because there was a Storm Watch on, not a Warning. Joe was visiting Mom but left to get his 72 Chevy Pickup home. When he heard on tv about golfball size hail somewhere, the Chevy headed for the garage! Well, those three storms in OKC were only the first of many in the coming months. Oh yes, Joe and I do have a storm shelter close to the house. Last year we went one time to the "cellar" and sat there finishing our dinner and watching the news on a tiny tv. Take care.
