James should be in the French Camp district. Going from Huntsville to French Camp, he lives just over the Choctaw line on the right side of Highway 413. Ashmore Funeral services were held for J.B. Ashmore at Long View Church, December 27th at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. H.L. Smith. Interment was in the church cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Ashmore, who died at a Jackson, Miss., hospital December 26th, lived for many years near Carrollton and was a prosperous farmer and good citizen. For the past few years he had made his home near Poplar Creek. He was 84 years of age and was a member of Long View Methodist Church.
