Gang, Let's remember Deb in her hour of need taking that important exam tomorrow, April 17th. I'm sure many of us remember the stress of having to do our best on something very important to us in our past. Other than the pressure and stress of a job interview, taking an important exam is the ultimate stress test. Go get 'em, Deb! We're rooting for you. Ken

Hi Peggy, I look the cemetery up in my Choctaw County cemetery book and you are right on again, says its founded in 1847 and located 4 miles from Weir on Hwy 413N, I was looking at the names and found some Coleman's Channel, and some Howards that interest me... I was just wondering why they would bury her there since her Dad lives over near Carrollton in Carroll County...I guess the Coleman's buried there are kin to her husband.. I don't know his name. or her kids names.... help me out with them if you know them... Peggy, Jenny and all: It must be Catrice Michun Braswell, since my records show a birth date of 23 Jan 1973, which would make her 36 years old. I have no marriage information for her, so don't know if she was married or not. Ken -----Original Message----- Hi Jenny, Basil & I were down at Becky Braswell's yesterday & Dessie Mae said someone had told her on Sunday that one of Clannis Braswell's dau. had been found died in bed. I don't know any more than that. I had begin to think someone didn't know what they were talking about. So by you hearing about it, it must be so. If I should hear any more, I'll put it on line. By the way, I only have 2 daughters for Clannis--Christy Michelle & Catrice Michun. Peggy Sunday morning, as we arrived at church (Attala County, New Hope), there was an ambulance and Sheriff's car across from the church (an old trailer there). It looked like they were not in a hurry, and after church we heard that a girl had died there early AM. (maybe heart failure) Then the next day it was told that she was 35 and Maybe from Poplar Creek. And that she might have been a Braswell (or married to one?).. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about this. I tried to look up some news online and couldn't find anything out. So I thought I'd ask here, Peggy usually knows it all! Ha.. That would have been fairly close to my age, I was just wondering if anyone knew anything. Thanks! JENNY

Peggy: Thanks for the concern for my wife, Betty. She is living on blood transfusions. The problem is the transfusions makes her iron go up so the has the problem of too much iron. We are just now beginning to get dogwood blossoms so we really don't have Spring yet. There were some hard winds down South again last night. We got less than an inch of rain. Emmitt hope they can get your wife blood count up. I was told if I didn't last year, I would have to take some blood. I started taking iron tablets & eating beef. Problem in our house, Basil don't need the beef & if I don't get some my iron hits rock bottom. I really don't like taking so many pills. About the flowers, the dogwoods are 98% gone. But everything is getting pretty & green. Deb, I'll sure put in a prayer or 2 for you. Think about the $$$$ you will be making. Then after the test you can sleep late the next day. Peggy
I'll be happy to send prayers - but it wouldn't hurt if you e-mailed us a reminder on Thursday. I have "senior moments" .... and the others probably do, too. Deb, Such a nice Prayer for Easter Morning. Thanks for sharing that with us. I didn't get not ONE solitary easter egg today. It's like it's not Easter if you don't get at least one egg to eat! Ken
Are you kidding? County boys didn't wear suits they couldn't afford...... Just a nice shirt and tie and dress pants. Ken > Were you dress up in a suit & tie?
Deb, Ok, cousin. Be assured we will send up prayers on your behalf for you to totally concentrate and ace that test! You know you can do it, and we will be supporting you all the way!! Now, would you like me to unsub you from the list so you won't have that distraction to take you away from your studying this week? I promise I will contact you at your personal email address if anything of real importance come through the list. Let me know. My 41 year old niece is also a RN/BSN and works in a psychiatric hospital in Pensacola, Florida. She sure can tell some doozies about her day to day work! You also have at least one cousin on the list who is a retired RN. A wonderful profession to be sure. Put your whole heart into your studies this week, and we will be praying for your success!! Ken -----Original Message----- I need everyone to get their prayer chains going. This coming Friday April 17th starting at 12 noon I am taking a certification exam for my Case Management certification.
