Happy Birthday to you Eunice. The big 21 & holding. A grandson as his grandmother how old she was & she said 39, & holding. He said, how old would you be if you were not holding?
Happy Birthday, cousin Eunice! We hope you have a great day today. What will you do today? Go sailing? Visit the tanning salon? Make Mickey cook you a nice birthday dinner???? That reminds me - I need to call my sister, Emogene, since today is her birthday, too. Love you! Ken

O.D.: Yes, Ovin wrote the book, RAY KINFOLKS, which was published after his untimely death. This book traces the descendants of James Braxton McCord Ray. It is a book of almost 300 pages of genealogy and family stories as only Ovin could tell them. You can almost hear Ovin talking as you ready the book. I am sorry that I do not know where to get the book. If I find out I will let you know. Attached is the material I have on the John "Jack" Ray family. Ken and Gang, Sorry that I haven't said anything lately but I have been feeling well enough for the last 3 day's to work some outside. There is so much that I need to do that I will never catch up. I don't have a garden but have a small bed where I have 2 tomatoe's and 5 pepper's planted. If they do good or bad I'll send a photo to some of you... I got the grass cut at Francine's mom's house but some of my yard is still too wet to cut all of it so I just do little spot's as I feel like it... I have been working on the Ray family from Choctaw County lately. I got started on doin that when I found out that The Andrew Patterson Ray that is buried in Pine Bluff Cemetery was one of my daughter-in-law's old Great Grandfather... Emmett, did Ovin Ray write a book on the Ray's and if so where can I get a copy??? I am really thrilled at what I have put together on them so far... Thank's to all of you for thinking about me and to me it show's how much love that that God's children have for each other. Thank's for all of the prayer's for I could just feel them in my time of sickness... My love and prayer's to all of you... Hey O.D., I'm glad you're out and about and feeling better. I never heard what was wrong with you. I hope you're back to 100% before the hoedown. Anyone have any news about O.D.? Wanted to hear how he is getting along this weekend. Ken
Since the economy has gone into the tank, these well known Southern money saving ideas need to be passed on to us uninformed Northerners. If I come across more I will let you know. Grilling tip As every Southerner knows, come next spring it will time to get ready for that all-important cooking technique of the south --- outdoor grilling! I have just found out there are several stores (not just in the South) where you can get a FREE Bar-B-Q grill! You can get a free BBQ grill from any of the following stores: A&P Albertsons Costco Food Lion Fry's Home Depot Big Lots Brookshire's Lowes Publix Safeway Sam's Club Target Vons Trader Joe's Wal-Mart Winn-Dixie I especially like the higher rack -- which can be used for keeping things warm! Just make sure to get a metal one... The plastic ones don't do so well.
