Peggy, tell Basil, he needs to come to the Hoedown so I can get another pic of him besides the one in boots and cutoffs that he wore for his walk in the early morning wet grass, I have a 5x7 up behind my computer. He can tell them at work that he is a pin up model. My kids all wanted to know "Who's this guy in boots and shorts." funny!!!! He'd better show up this time, I know he would have fun. Heading out for Norman. I'm so glad to know you will be able to come back. I was beginning to think we had scared you off. It will be good to see Lisa again. I know she hasn't changed unless to get prettier like MOM!!! I know you will be glad to keep up with your clothes. Plus you know you can stay with me. That will be the only way my house will get cleaned. HAVE COMPANY. Don't back out now, for Buckoo told me yesterday he was coming unless some sickness hit him. But I'm not going to hold my breathe. I think he's just chicken. Peggy
It's official, I'm coming to the Hoedown 09. My daughter Lisa and I will be there. Can't wait!!!! She will be getting us a motel room, she may work a couple of days while there. She works for Neilson TV Ratings. In fact, Lisa was in Winona the other day, I kidded her, asking if she saw anyone that looked like kin. She said she only made one stop to buy gas there. Well, as usual these days, I have to head to town. It's for my own health check this time & my own fault. Just that old problem cholesterol. Wish I could be a vegan. Seems like we haven't slowed down much since our vacation. Mom has problem with her ankle, so been dealing with that a lot. Mom is losing it a little but still tells us how she wants things done, so it is a bit stressful to satisfy all concerns. We still play dominoes but for fun and not keeping a score on paper, Beverly and I play to not beat her now. That is so sad for such a crack domino player who used to, as my sons call it, spank family members, neighbors etc. I remember as a kid, going to sleep on feather beds or homemade quilt pallets with friends & cousins while the sound of dominoes being shuffled & the adults murmuring & laughing, drifted out from the kitchen. It's good talking to you guys again. Can't wait to see you at the Hoedown 09. Later, Nova **************Big savings on Dell XPS Laptops and Desktops!(http://pr.atwola.com/promoclk/100126575x1219491521x1201306563/aol?redir=http:%2F%2Fad.double click.net%2Fclk%3B214102108%3B35952091%3Bs)

Deb, sorry you had to be in the hospital. I know that it wasn't fun, but glad you're doing better. Know that you will do good on your text. Peggy P
I want to thank everyone for their prayers regarding the exam I took on the 17th, I will find out the results in about 6 weeks. Sorry I did not respond sooner but I was then readmitted to the Hospital the next day on the 18th and came home yesterday. Had developed an abd abscess from my surgery and was sick prior to the exam but too bullheaded to call the doc because I knew he was admit me and I was not going to miss the test. Was sched for surgery on Wed but by the Grace of God and answers to many prayers the abscess started to resolve with antibiotics so I as able to skip the knife. Ken I have a bunch of Varner pictures as soon as I can get my mom to ID the folks I will scan them and send them to you. If need I can send the pics as long as I am sure I get them back Till later and again my thanks Deb
