Found out at church this morn. David Williams died early this morn. He is/was married to Erna Lee Palmertree Williams. Don't know any of the arrangements. Peggy

I really don't know the most shock or surprising news I've found. There was Ma Varner, Lillian Stafford & Dr. Dean. I guess Lillian's case made me want to find out who her family was, but when I did, I put a stop on nosing around. Another surprising story was in the Winona Times on Machine Gun Kelly. He was arrested in Memphis. I read more on him & found out that he could have robbed some banks in Miss. I guess I love history, & when it here in Miss. or around Montgomery Co. my ears purk up. What is surprising is that Ma Varner & Lillian Stafford lived in the same community of Scotland. I really having found where Ma Varner lived but know she lived in that community & both lady's are buried at Scotland. I know that some of the Palmertree's & the Walker's loved to make "moonshine" & some folks don't want to let you forget but who know what I'm going to dig up in the paper. I've tried to find some stories on the P'tree's & Walker's but haven't as of yet. Oh, there was back in the 30's, J.L. - Johnnie & Tom who was before a judge for making the "shine". Well Nova, I was beginning to worry that you got blow away. Just hope you don't get up in one of those clouds & end up in the Miss. River. Peggy, I got on line this time by going thru Explorer. We live just south of Stanley Draper Lake which is near Tinker AFB and SE OKC if you check the map. We went to see Patti Lovelace last night at one of the local casinos,?we're not gamblers at all, I did play bingo?ONCE on our vacation and won.?But they didn't get any of it back from me. I'm not against gambling, just would rather spend?money on things like chocolate or clothes.?I did use some of it to purchase some reams of special copy paper for the research library. I kidded them about it being from my illgotten gains. Patti is one of Joe's favorite country singers. Some of it was almost like rock and roll but?it was a great concert. Joe likes her more traditional country songs the best. ? What has happened to O.D.?? He used to tell about?which singer or group that?they had just seen?in concert etc. Sure hope they are both OK?? But the other night I was very happy sitting in the storm shelter reading until the radio called the all clear. Not far from us it blew away car ports and uprooted trees etc, but nothing right here. It's her daughter Jo. If you don't know Mavis, she can be a fireball 90% of the time. Jo is the only one that will mix with her.
