Thanks Peggy. When you talk to him again, tell him he's got folks all around the country praying for a quick recovery. Tell him we don't know the words to "Old Gray Goose", so he needs to be at the Hoedown since he didn't sing it last time. That is excellent info to have on hand in case anybody ever needs it! Thx. I talked with Jerry, & said Francine was taking OD down to Jackson to see his doctor, in the morn. Will be leaving around 7:30. Jerry said Dr. Pope was talking to his dr. but he wasn't in last week & couldn't see him today. Peggy
I hope he has a good visit and they do not find anything serious. Here is something to think about.......I've had one but at the time I did not know to keep Aspirin handy.... Subject: FYI ----- ASPIRIN About Heart Attacks There are other symptoms of an heart attack besides the pain on the left arm. One must also be aware of an intense pain on the chin, as well as nausea and lots of sweating, however these symptoms may also occur less frequently. Note: There may be no pain in the chest during a heart attack. The majority of people (about 60%) who had an heart attack during their sleep, did not wake up. However, if it occurs, the chest pain may wake you up from your deep sleep. If that happens, immediately dissolve two aspirins in your mouth and swallow them with a bit of water. Afterwards - phone a neighbor or a family member who lives very close by - say "heart attack!" - say that you have taken 2 aspirins. - take a seat on a chair or sofa near the front door, and wait for their arrival and... ~ do NOT lie down ~ A Cardiologist has stated that, if each person, after receiving this e-mail, sends it to 10 people, probably one life can be saved! I have already shared the information-- What about you?
Thanks for this update on OD, I am sorry to hear he is not doing well, he is a tough old bird, he'll pull through, and I'll be praying for him and Francine... Thanks Ken I am looking for any kind of information on Thomas Jefferson Walker who married Francis Eugene(?sp)Harris. I know he was born about July 1835 in Alabama I am trying to find out his parents names 1900 census states that his mother was from Virginia and father from Sough Carolina. Married Francis in 1878. Really any help in pointing me in the right directions will help. Only living relatives are my mom and my Uncle George H Walker and he does not know anything no one has a family Bible. Peggy, Tell Francine when she calls for the appt that she needs an emergent appointment. Usually with insurance company contacts there is a clause that when calling for an emergent appt it has to be made with in a 48 hour period. If they have regular insurance and not Medicare have her call the insurance company and ask if he can be referred to a case manager. If so this is a good route to go. They can usually call and get offices to give sooner than later appointment. ----- Original Message ----- From: "peggy palmertree" <psmpalmertree@bellsouth.net> To: <PALMERTREE@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, May 31, 2009 10:22 PM Subject: [PTREE] OD > > > Everyone who believes in prayer, needs to start, for OD. Deb, Congratulations! I am happy for you. You had many prayers going up for you to have a clear mind and good recall when you took that exam. We are proud of you!! Deb, so glad you pass. Now I'm asking big time prayer for my great nephew (who calls me MaMau), he leaves June 14 to go to Iraq.
