    3. Yea, they do hollow Four, but people still get hit, I witnessed that at the Master one year, I was working on hole number 4 a par 3 and I just told the patrons to watch the incoming balls from the tee or they could get hit since they were allowed to be near the side of the green, well immediately after I said that, a lady about ten feet from me got the same as you saw on TV.. pow right up side her head, bust it open and she was bleeding all over the place, had to take her out to the first aid station.... Golf can be dangerous..... 3. Ken, That's right. I hadn't thought of it till yesterday when I was talking to my youngest niece, Kristy. She might go with their 19 month old, but Adam will probably stay home and work. Maybe Hayden, Toad and Al can come up with a Father's Day song. Is there one? 3. Ed, if you don't know somebody, just ask who they are. I wish we had a cordless mike to pass around so everybody could introduce themselves. I think I spoke to most everybody at both Hoedowns so far and still don't know who everybody was. I had a backyard party here many years ago, only 30+ people with a DJ and all. We had a mike to pass around and it was fun. It was a birthday party and one of the entertainers suggested how to sing the birthday song. Everybody together and sing as loud and off key as possible! Actually sounded pretty good. 3. Hello everyone, I've been gone since Friday morn. to see the grand's. We really had a nice time. We left as the party started. I don't think Basil could stand 15 little kids running around. I think Tom Wade was sad because he couldn't bring half the birthday cake home with him. I've call & checked on OD. Test was done on his lungs & haven't heard from that yet. I believe there were some other test but don't remember what. Hoping to come home Monday. If so, he will be able to tell everyone the right news. Later, Peggy

    3. I have been watching some of the third round of the PGA Memorial Tournament from the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio today. I saw something I have never witnessed in golf today. On the 13th hole, Steward Cink had to make a drive of about 220 feet to the hole. He must have put a little too much power on it because the ball flew high and completely missed the fairway, coming down into the first line of spectators and cracked a fan on the head. You could actually hear the "crack" when it hit the man. I'm surprised it didn't give him a concussion. He was bleeding like crazy and they had to haul him off to the first aid station for treatment. Kinda stopped the game for a bit. Haven't heard any more about his condition. I can't imagine how that must have made Stewart Cink feel. I would have been mortified. I wonder if there will be some money changing hands over this???? Ken

    2. Hello Everyone, gosh, I hope everyone's feeling fine today.? With my artificial knees, I do pretty good, but after a certain amount of activity, they go "Whoa, that's it, time to stop."??? I did too much yesterday and paying for it today. Well, in my continuing computer drama, someone came and now I'm on Mozilla Thunderbird, have Gmail and AOL mail. Don't know what I'm doing and it is not fun yet.? Ready to go back to dial-up, not quite, but?when it worked, it worked and I had fun. We had a get-together last week of just my sisters, kids, grandkids, greatgrandkids etc plus one cousin's whole family,(only three people left named P'tree, my Mom 96, the cousin's widow 8?'s?and her grown single son), the rest of us are female and married)? We had a lot of fun.??? Ken, I'll send a pic of my Mom and four daughters soon. I took my Mom, on the way home she would say, I didn't know all those people. I told her that "Mom, no one there knew everyone else there." There are so many new grandkids, great grandkids, new spouses, boyfriends, girlfriends etc. We just have all been busy and not gotten together as much as we used to, but plan on keeping up with everyone again now. Had hotly contested horseshoe games, the kids had watergun and garden hose fights til they were all soaking, a guidewire? for the kids to hangon -?sliding down from a tree platform but more talking, eating and laughing & kissing Granny Hattie than anything else.?? I took my usual two pans of German Choc. Brownies, ham etc but also included the Mississippi Picklelickles. They were a big hit. A big ol' cowboy kept telling me I had to give his wife Debi the recipe for those. Later, I laughed when looking at my pictures, there he is eating one. Take care,? Nova

    3. Don, I have not heard anything about OD, if Peggy doesn't get the latest we probably won't know until she can update us.... I hope he is doing well too...Later this year I have to go in for a new stress test, its been since 1993 that I had my bypass operation, then two stents put in another area in my heart in 2004 so my Dr. wants a new test done..I feel fine except for my legs, lately I have that problem, the vain Dr. told me I needed two veins closed in my right leg, got one done and just have not returned to have the other done yet.... I still have to get blood work done again to check me out since I had a colonoscopy done with the equipment they were not cleaning right, also had endoscopy done this year, got called back to take blood test to see if I had contacted HIV or Hepatitis. I was ok but have to go back for another test in a couple of months.. Damn if its not one thing its another when you start getting old.....I sure want to make it to the hoedown before I croak, can't wait to taste some of the good catfish and vittles....
