Thanks for the info, Ed. Yes, Pioneer Publishing is still going strong. I have ordered from them and they send me updates every couple of months for their new books. They have books on Alabama counties and lots of others from MS. I guess I just haven't paid enough attention to notice the cemetery ones. It makes me wonder if those were the only two stolen....I am hoping they will check out the whole cemetery to see if others are missing. I am glad someone found those two. How drunk or mean would you have to be to do that. I know people steal flowers and such off the graves and that is so wrong too. Was talking to a friend to knows Patsy Greenlee Williamson. She isn't doing to well. Not expect to live ( unless God wants to heal her). Since I'm not good at spelling, it is hard for me to tell what is wrong. Something in her stomach bursted & she bleed a lot, surgery was done to stop the bleeding, but it effected her kidneys & maybe some other things. If any one knows how to get in touch with her daughters, I wish they would, to really find out what is wrong. But let keep her in our prayers. Peggy
Nova, I asked my boss about this merging of two photos and he said it is not as easy as you would think. You have to match the background and lighting and other stuff. If you have a way to scan the photos and send them to me he will look at them and see what he can do for you. If you can't scan them into your computer you can get copies made at Walmart and send those to me. Okay? Donna Kay, what is the best program to learn photoshopping at home? I have a photo of my mom, me and two sisters in some of her bonnets and aprons and my old fans at a reunion in 09 the year she passed away. I,then went & took pics of my other sister who was not there & would like to add her to the pic so it will be Mom and her four daughters. I WON'T but would laugh about putting in the pic of Mary my sister wearing a slat bonnet and apron with an extra long Misty cigarette in her mouth. I will have to put that shot in a frame for her birthday cake table next month. We had more fun taking the pics of her, both kidding and laughing. When I was working at school, Mom made me a new bonnet & apron every year for a while. One pattern she found and thought was fun, was a Sunday bonnet. The brim part and ties unbuttoned and became a small apron. She loved to try things like that. I have so many fun and fond sewing memories with her. I have about 6-7 matching sets. The librarians used to borrow them to wear during 89er week at the library. Two years ago, the public library had an Ice Cream Social with all kinds of icecream (some the old hand cranked kind) with toppings and all kinds of booths. I had a Cleveland County Genealogy Booth where people could put on my bonnets and aprons and a couple of Joe's straw hats/blue bandanas and take their pictures or I would take them. It was pretty popular. Fun besides. Must get busy. Always fun to hear from or talk to you guys! Nova . In a message dated 8/15/2011 8:44:25 A.M. I've always sort of known you can't believe everything you see on TV, but to find out that is not Jason Lee's own voice singing those Elvis songs at the end of the show last year, blew my mind. Like finding out about Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy. He said he gave it a good shot but it was not the quality they wanted. So all the time I thought it was him singing, it was not. I would rather he be singing in his own voice than to hear someone else. What a crock. It was in the newsy little magazine that comes in the Sunday paper a couple of weeks ago. I still like that show, but feeling ripped off. ha I like the story line with his mother etc. liked the bit this week about the young guy and the bank girl. Just a fun show for me. Just wondered if anyone else had read that article about Jason not doing the singing? I did. That was disappointing. I was also disappointed to know they filmed the show in New Orleans. I had been watching, hoping to see places I remembered -- and know I know why I don't. Still, it's the best thing on at that particular time on TV so I will keep watching it. Nova, you should have been in Memphis this pass week. It was Elvis week in memory of his death. Eight or nine year ago 4 of us went, but I said if I every went again it would be cooler weather. It was so many people there. Hurry up & stand in line. Yesterday I went by the street where to turn but was going to a graduation. Valerie is a nurse now, & maybe I won't be hearing, Aunt Peggy I need some money. I know that no one on line has heard that from your children or grands. I'm still looking for the knee deep snow, or even deeper. If anyone has some in your yard please send some down to Mississippi. Later, Peggy
