    2. Since Donnie is in his house now,(instead of his motor home) I hope he can get his computer hooked up. Be good to have him on the line again. Just got in from Ky trip. Don't know how Joe, the four kids and I used to take off driving to CA. from OK & vice versa when we lived in CA. like it was nothing at all. But sure enjoyed seeing all Joe's family there. Later, Nova In a message dated 8/20/2011 11:07:17 A.M. Central Daylight Time, [email protected] writes: 3 yrs ago my special friend in Ind. went this way. I took care of him the last month and he just went down so fast. They tried the radiation but it did not help and I would take him for it and he could hardly make it and couldn't get his shirt on last couple of treatments. It was so frustrating to see him going through that and not much you could do except give him pain medication which didn't help unless it put him to sleep. -----Original Message----- From: Ed brown Sent: Saturday, August 20, 2011 9:12 AM To: Peggy Palmertree ; [email protected] Subject: Re: [PTREE] Donnie Peggy, I lost two good army buddies in the last couple of years both to lung cancer, and both smoked for years but had quit long before the cancer developed....very sad to hear about Donnie and the suffering he is going thru.... 3. 3 yrs ago my special friend in Ind. went this way.
