Dear Terri, I was just searching "The Morning Call" archives at http://www.mcall.com. The searchable records go back to 1984. I recall an article about the almshouse in the last ten years at least. This database is great. To get obits, you can search for "ROTH and HEIMBACH and died." That means the people who died could have been born circa 1904. The deceased's parents are listed and would get you back to THEIR birthdate, circa 1884. Happy hunting! Sue
