DAve, I like what you suggested and would like to see guidlines for on line research published. I try not to plagerize others work and don't like it when mine is used,however, many people are novices with genealogy computer programs and have a very difficult time removing information they don't want in the family tree projects. I use Family Tree Maker 4.4 and Ultimate Family Tree, neither program allows you to cull the family index with any ease. This is one of the primary complaints, I have about these programs. Frances
