Searching for Samuel CAMERON's birthplace in Dauphin County, PA. He was born 9/3/1811. The family lived in Killinger, in Upper Paxton Twp for awhile. He was married to Amelia WEBNER, of Schuylkill & Berks County, PA, daughter of Johann Theodore WEBNER & Christina HEISER. Samuel's last name used to be KEMMERER. Also have seen it spelled as KAMMERER & CAMMERER. Not sure why Samuel changed the spelling. Samuel was the son of Dietrich KEMMERER & Barbara WEILAND (WIELAND). Dietrich & Barbara lived in Lehigh County, PA for a short time. Samuel & Amelia had a daughter, Anna Mary, who married Henry WOLFE, of Lycoming County, PA. The KEMMERERS/CAMERONS were German.
