Hi, We are looking for information on Matthias GIFT who was naturalized in Sept. 1765, in Weisenburg Twp, Northampton County, which we believe is now a part of Lehigh County. According to the information we have been able to obtain, Matthias was granted land called Gillingen situate in Weisenburg Township, Northampton County , warranted 5 April 1748. This land changed hands several times. I am interested in corresponding with anyone who may have info on Matthias Gift. I want to know if he was in any way related to Nicholas, Adam and Peter Gift. I have in my possession records that show a Matthias Gift in Guilford Twp, Franklin County and who served in the Revolutionary War. He had a son George who also served.
