Jim & all, I have a list of Hartzells who ended up coming to Seneca Co., Ohio. Perhaps someone can connect them. James Hartzell - b. 1818 in Lehigh Co., PA ; d. 1899 M. Catherine Meyer Paul Hartzell - b. ca. 1823 ; d. by 1876 M. Carolina (?) Paul & Carolina moved to Allen Co., IN in the 1860's I feel certain that James & Paul were brothers, as they were bap. sponsors for each others children. Another possible brother is John. He & Paul lived near each other in Bloomville, OH, Seneca Co., OH. Isaac & Judah Strauss of Lehigh were also sponsors for one of Paul & Carolina's Children. My grgr grandfather Reuben Hartzell (1812 - 1878) had 2 aunts who married Strausses, and Reuben & Isaac may have come to Seneca at the same time, along with a number of others who lived in Macungie just prior to their emmigration to Seneca in 1847. The Strausses & Hartzells made several moves together, along with the Litzenbergers & others. John Hartzell - b. ca. 1821 M. Barbara John & Barbara moved away to an unknown location in the 1860's Howard F. Hartzell - b. ca. 1824 Howard was in the 123rd OVI, and was b. in PA All of these appeared briefly & probably continued west later. Henry - b. ca. 1826 George - b. 1809 - 10 Possible son of Henry & Margaret of Lehigh Co., PA Jacob - b. Sept. 9, 1808 Henry - b. ca. 1836 One other person that caught my eye: Hanna Hartsough - b. ca. 1753, d. 1842 Any info on these folks is much appreciated.
