Despite what the DAR Patriot Index says... PA Archives, Series Six, Vol II printed 1906 p. 673 "The Return of Capt. Comfort Company for the Yere (that's the spelling) 1782 County of York" lists Henry CONN (there's also a John CONN) ===== There is no KAHN/KANN listed in this source on this page. Even though everyone misspelled back then, I'm trying to find out for sure if the Henry Conn who married Johanna Burt fought in the American Revolution. I really don't care if the answer is YES or NO. I just want to know for sure. The Nicholas KANN line claims the Henry CONN listed under Capt. Comfort as their Johann Heinrich Kann, son of Nicholas Kann. How do we know? I'd appreciate some discussion about this. Perhaps locating the below CONNS in PA would help. Please be patient, list members, with my obsession on this line. It's just a surprise that no one on the list has seen or heard from them with so many of them staying in PA.
