Peggy Sue: Just for reference - I've been researching the George Michael Bastian of Montgomery Co, Allen Twp Northampton Co, then Snyder Co, and Northumberland Co ( and some later to Lycoming Co). I've seen folks often mix up these two different lines. One point that I haven't ironed out is that supposedly the Bastian brothers of Allen Twp (Jacob and Andreas I think) were to have married Ertle sisters from Berks Co in the 1790's (Jacob Bastian is mentioned in the Ertle will). I've wondered if these weren't Lehigh Co Bastian's since it's much closer and I haven't seen the Ertle's in Allen Twp. FYI, Tim Conrad
