Hi Its been some time since I posted who I was researching. Looking for any SCHREIBER that are descendants of John Jacob Schreiber who came to the USA from Alsace on the ship Hope. Some of the Families that they married into were ROTH, DESHLER, MICKLEY, BALLIETT, LEISENRING, TROXELL, FRANKENFIELD, SNYDER, KERN to name a few. Also trying to see if there is a conncetion between John Jacob and Andreas Schreiber/Shriver not sure when he came to the USA but was before 1733 maybe around 1727. As several families of Schreiber/Shrivers who came late settled near Andreas in and around York and Lancaster counties. It has been suggested in the Colonial and Revolutionary Families of Pennslvania that the Schreibers/Shrivers were related and either cousins, nephews or both.
