Hello list, I am looking for any and all information on Thomas Davies, possibly June 17, 1849, Wales or Catasauqua; definitely to married Hannah Philips. They lived in Catasauqua and bore a son, Thomas Davies, b.January 20, 1885. He was later adopted in Bethlehem by Oscar Levi and Minnie Sue Strohl. The family owed Strohl's Fruit Stand on Easton Ave., just east of Liberty High School. This family is a brick wall for me. Adoption records don't seem to be available. Why was he adopted?
