My main point should have read that I think the City was in only Northampton County in pre-1900... and that the city grew into Lehigh County. For the past year I have been deleting all queries concerning Bethlehem; unless they specifically stated "LEHIGH COUNTY" and told the posted the city was in Northampton County (believing that at usually pre-1850) the statement to be correct in relation to the period of time spoken of... If this in incorrect; and a portion of Bethlehem's west end has ALWAYS been in Lehigh County; I will consider accepting posts, if a significant section of that city rests in Lehigh County.... Again, my first post was poorly worded; I concede and am fully aware that some part of the city is in Lehigh, I am only questioning how much of the city falls inside Lehigh... Jim
