Searching for information about Andrew (Andreas) HARTMAN b. ca 1820 in Weisenburg twp. Parents, siblings, and wife unknown. He had a son, Peter HARTMAN b. 22 Mar. 1836 in Weisenburg twp., d. 10 Apr. 1882 of smallpox in Allentown. m. Amanda MERTZ,daughter of Elias and Sophia MERTZ, b. 3 Apr. 1842 in Allentown. They married on 10 Jan 1864, and had 7 children: Ella, William (who became an editor of the Daily City Item newspaper), Lillie, Howard (my grandfather), Morris, Edgar, and Lawrence.
