Hello The info below was taken from the Knauss Genealogy by Wilbur L. King. This is my husband's line - from Ludwig Knauss to Godfried to Paul Knauss 1 ( was in Rev.War) & Paul Knauss, the 2nd, to Ephraim John Knauss to Mary A.(Knauss) Hartzell. My youngest son was in CAR thru this line so you know I had to send in proofs. Paul Knauss 1 moved to Allen Twp, Northampton Co where Paul 2 was born. Later Paul the 2nd moved back to Lehigh Co.
