    3. Gross, Milton J., s/o Reuben and Mary (Keck) of Allentown, was born Aug 27, 1856. He married 1st Mary Kerchner, d/o Charles and Julia (Weida) Kerchner. She died in 1895 age 31 and she had 4 sons and 1 daughter: Reuben, Carrie, w/o Edward Bartholomew, Edwin J., Harry of Phila., and William of Allentown. Milton J., married 2nd to Annie Moyer, d/o Benjamin M., and Amanda (Dengler) Moyer. They had no children. Groves, William, whose father was a native of England and his mother, Martha Rusk, came from Omagh, County Tyrone, Ireland. Walter Jedediah Weiss, a son of William and Mary Margaret (Weiss) Groves, was born in Bethlehem, he married in 1900 to Mabel R. Kline, d/o Henry Kline. Children; Margaret I., Eleanor K., and Henry K. Handwerk, Peter, one of the early pioneers of Washington township, emigrated from the Palatinate in 1743 and located 6 miles from the site of Slatington, on what afterwards becamee the line of Berks County Railroad. He had sons, Abraham, Martin, and Jonas, and daughter, Mrs. Daniel Rex, and Mrs. John Raber. Hartman, Samuel, grandson of Conrad Sr., he married Sarah, d/o B. Levan. Both are buried at Jacksonville. Children; Albert, and Jane, both deceased; William T., Charles, Samuel, Annie married Edward Klingman, Alice married Edwin Bachman and Milton. Heckman, Abraham, who died in 1884, he married Anna Guth, d/o Daniel Guth and Griesemerville, Lehigh County. She died Jan 16, 1914, aged 79. Children; Daniel F., Howard of S. Bethlehem, Robert of Slatington, George of Kansas, William H., (never married), Alice, and Abraham who died in infancy. Heil, William H., was born in Upper Milford, Sept 23, 1845. His wife Jane Fink, d/o Jacob and Lucy (Fink) Fink. Children; Francis, Ida died as a baby, Charles and Richard H. Kershner, Charles A. (Rev.), s/o Charles and Julia (Weida) Kerschner, was born Dec 31, 1860 at Rothrocksville (Maxatawny) Berks Co., he married Dec 13, 1883 to Sarah A., d/o Moses and Mary (Rex) Klotz. King, Wilbur Lewis, s/o Isaac L., and Maria (Knauss) King, was born Aug 14, 1872. He is a descendant of Jacob Konig. He (Wilbur) married Sept 9, 1897 to Irene M. Keiper, d/o Charles and Mary (Zellner) Keiper of Allentown. She is a descendant of John Moll. Her paternal grandfather, William Keiper, was a soldier in the Rev. Knabb, Daniel Milton, of Allentown, was born in Oley township, Berks Co., Sept 9, 1879. His wife was Katharine Tyson, born Oct 21, 1881, d/o William H. and Caroline (Huff) Tyson, of Jacksonwald, Berks Co., Children; William born 1905, died 1908, Daniel born 1907, and George born 1908. Knabb Family of Oley township, Berks County. was planted in Berks county by 3 brothers, Michael, John and Peter, who were Pfeldersheim, in Pfalz District, Kingdom, Bavaria, Germany, (which formerly belonged to Frances, but was restored to Bavaria). The emigrated to America in 1737, and as far as is known are the only members of the family to have emigrated from the eastern to the western hemisphere. Michael (born 17 April 1717), settled in Oley township. Peter Knabb, son of Peter, the emigrant. He was a member of Spies's Church. He married Sarah Herbein. Children; William, Nathan, of Oley, whose children were ( Susan, Rebecca, Jacob, Emma married a Beidler and Amanda and Sarah who married Daniel Zacharias). Koch, Frank Walter, married Mary Irene Heller, d/o Peter and Anna (Hartz) Heller. Children, one daughter Anna Elizabeth Koch, she married Norton Louis Lichtenwalner, of Allentown on Oct 15, 1912. He was born June 1, 1889 at Allentown, s/o Frederick and Jennie (Seiple) Lichtenwalner. Krause, Jacob, s/o Jacob and Salome (Braucher) Krause, was born near Kempton, Berks Co., Jan 24, 1832. He was an elder of the Friedens Church at Wessnersville. He married 1st to Mary Rex and who 12 years after their marriage. He married 2nd to Mary S. Smith, born in 1847 and died March 7, 1907. Children by the 1st marriage, Phaon, Samuel, Cora, Conrelius, Clarissa and Marietta. By the 2nd, Annie, Mary, Maurice, Savilla, Mabel, Calvin and Lewis. William, s/o Jacob and Salome, married Maria, d/o George and Polly (Harter) Krause. Their son Thomas O., married Nov 23, 1895 to Minnie, d/o Benjamin and Fianna (Sauerwine) Rex. Kressly, Nathan, was born March 5, 1809, died June 19, 1886. He was a tanner and machinist and later followed farming in Maxatawny township. He married "Abagiail" Mayer. Buried at Morgenland Church at Lowhill. Children Amanda married Wm. Schwoyer, Frank, Percival, Jane w/o Jacob Weaver, George, Oliver J., and Annie married Chester Guth. Kuntz, John A., s/o Thomas of Lynn township, was born July 22, 1854. In 1879, he married Mary A. Rex, d/o Nathan and Refena (Hunsicker) Rex. They had children; Percy, married Rosa Wertman, Edwin P., marrried Sarah Loch, William H. Carrie M., Florence F., Lillie and Mamie Greenawalt, Edwin K. s/o William was born at Lynn township, July 5 1877, he married Jan 10, 1905 to Minnie M. Krum, d/o James and Julia (Rex) Krum.
