(Lawrence) Brown. His grandfather was a native of Northampton Co, and some time prior to the War of1812 he moved to Clinton Co. His son, the father of George L., was born in Northampton Co. May 23, 1804, and died in Milton, Northumberland Co. in 1883. He married Mary A. Lawrence, d/o George and Esther Lawrence, of Milton, by whom he had nine children, six sons and three daughters.
