    3. Montgomery Co Abraham Smith, the father was born in Frederick township, March 18, 1794, s/o Jacob and Margaret Smith. Sorrow came early to the home of Abraham Smith was born, his mother being left a widow when he was only 13 months old. and the child Abraham, being bound out to Christiian Fyer when he was 4 years old. He learned the shoemakers trade with Michae Sensender, of Limerick township. On Sept 20, 1816, he married Elizabeth Christman, of Limerich township and moved to Deep Creek in Frederick township. In about 1836 he moved to Pottstown. He was a soldier in Peter Hanley's Co., in the war of 1812. To his first marriage to Elizabeth Christman, six children were born, Mary, w/o Levi Wildermuth, John C., Elizabeth married Rufus B. Longaker, Jacob C., Sarah married William Wamback and Abram C. The first Mrs. Smith died, and Abraham Smith married 2nd in 1845 to Mrs. Mary Maisberger. There were no children of the 2nd marriage. Abraham Smith died April 6, 1878 in his 85th year. John Christman Smith s/o Abraham and Elizabeth (Christman) Smith, born at Deep Creek, Frederick township, Dec 1, 1818, and died July 21, 1882. He married Rebecca Maria Pennybacker, d/o Henry and Elizabeth, of Hanover Township, Montgomery County. Children, Sarah E., born Oct 23, 1842, died Feb 7, 1912, married William H. Rhoads, who was born Aug 17 1855 and died March 5, 1903 and they had one child, Edna R.. Mary Ann married Henry G. Kulp, Henry, deceased, Andora P., married Charles F. Sissler. Northampton Co "Chrisman", Henry, Chestnut Hill township, 9/3/1768, proved __ children, Christoper, Elizabeth, Catharine, Magdalena, Margaret, Sophia, Henry. Best Wishes, Geri
