Berks County Christman, Nathan G., was born in Frederick township, Sept 11, 1841 a son of Nathan and grandson of Henry. I. Henry Christman, one of 4 brothers, the others being John, Daniel and Jacob. He lived in Macungie township. He wife was a member of the Radler family; Children, Jonas, Ephraim, Jacob, Samuel, Nathan, Mrs. John Kerchner, Mrs. George Geiger and Mrs. William Geiger. II Nathan Christman, son of Henry was born in Macungie township, Lehigh Co, died 1887 in Montgomery Co. Mr. Christman married twice, first to Esther German, who died 1863, the mother of Matilda, who died young, Lucinda, Nathan G., James, Wilson, Jonathan and Henry. The 2nd wife was Elizabeth Huber of Falkner Swampm whi died 1892, and she had Lizzie, married Edwin Erdman, Civilla married Hiram, and Augustus III Nathan G. On Oct 28, 1866 he married Rachel Herbein, d/o Jonas and Lydia (Herbein) Herbein. Children; (1) Lydia H. married Gideon A.D. Hoch and they had, Gideon, Maud, HErmuhis Webser,Edna, and Elwood. (2) Olivia married Sylvanius Mertz of Exter and had Carrie, Nathan, Jacob, Maggie, Helen, Mabel and Sue. (3) Jonas born 1871 married Mary Bush, children; Harvey, Florence, Nathan, William, Edna and Cora. (4) Ella L. married William Deagler of Friedensburg and they had, Blanche, Harvey, John, Ella, Sarah, Catharine and James. (5) Edwin M, 1879-1880 (6) Stella I. Christman, Michael, resided at Rockland, buried at the New Jerusalem Church. Children Daniel, John, Philip, and Susanna married Benjamin Mertz. II Daniel, was born in Falkners Swamp in 1815, he died in 1883. He married Elizabeth Gruber, d/o Michael of Maxatawny. She died Feb 1, 1853, aged 31. Children, Charles H., Sarah married Daniel Mayer, Cassie married Willoughby Eck, Daniel S., died at 7, and Frank of Kutztown III Charles H., of Topton, was born at Mazatawny, July 15, 1841. He married July 24, 1864 to Sarah A. Koch, d/o Charles and Maria (Clauser) Koch and granddaughter of Carl Koch, who married a Miss Dottery. Mr. and Mrs. Christman had children; Mary E., married Moses E. Newbold of Topton, Daniel S., lived in Allentown, Henry E., died age 6., William A., resides in Mazatawny, Sallie E., married Wallace Fry, Oscar died age 4, Charles H I. Christman, Peter his will was probated May 26, 1812. II Peter Christman, married a Barto. Children; Isac, John B., Elizabeth, Anna, married Daniel Dietrich and Kate married Charles Detweiler III Isaac, born 1817 He is buried at Fairwood cemetery. He married Esther Deisher, d/o Peter. Children; Willliam, Deisher, Tobias, Peter, Jerome, Louisa, Helena, Wilhelemina, Esther, and Caroline III John B., also s/o Peter, married Susanna Geary, d/o John and Catharine (Glasser) Geary.
