lehigh co. history sieger, samuel, s/o john and barbara was born in siegersville, march 20, 1808, died sept 20, 1875. he married 1st to hattie guth, who was born march 4, 1852 and died sept. 30, 1909. he married 2nd to leah guth and they had children, a. john f., lewis a., amandes s., josiah, edwin and tilghman siege, nathan, s/o john george and elizabeth (stopp) sieger, who was born june 6, 1821. he married lovina guth, d/o daniel a. guth. she was born dec. 1819. children, george died in infancy, elouisa married alfred newhard, matilda died in infany, uriah f., of frankford, indiana, amanda c., married m. r. schaeffer and henry n. steckel, robert peter married march 28, 1874, rebecca henninger, d/o charles and adaline a. (roth) henninger, of whitehall. their only child, esther adaline steckel, she married june 20, 1896 to george e. d. guth, s/o albert j. d. and sarah (kressley) guth. children; alice steckel guth, aug 10, 1907, and sarah rebecca guth, june 3, 1911. mr. guth and his brothers are proprietors in the lafayette hotel in allentown. sterner, solomon m. of allentown. he came fom mechanicsville in 1868. he was born sept 23, 1852. on may 3, 1878 he married meddie guth, d/o charles and lydia (seyfret) guth. tice, v.g. of allentown, born july 20, 1863, in 1885 mr. tice married clara m. loux, d/o elvey m. and magdalena (mills) loux of allentown. children; bertha, herbert, edith, warren, william and elsie his father john tice, died at age 24. he married sarah cole. children, vallie g. and cora, widow of dr. carr late of phila.
