col. tilghman good. henry good, grandfather emigrated from switzerland and settled in south whitehall, lehigh co. children; nathan, james, henry, mary, leah, hettie, eliza and anna. james was born in s. whitehall, may 24, 1804, died dec. 21, 1838. he married mary blumber, born feb. 6, 1807, d/o abraham. children; edwin, tilghman h., james, sarah, w/o rufus snyder, henritta, w/o russel thayer and caroline, w/o william reinsmith. col. tilghman was born oct. 6, 1830, at age 8 he went to live with his uncle, peter blank. on 6 april, 1851 he married mary, d/o amandus trexler of allentown, one child was born to them and died in infancy. good, peter, came from whithall to alentown in 1810. he married catharine keiper. children; catharine, w/o __ hutchison, peter, eliza, lucy, matilda, tilghman, william h, clarissa w/o __ massey and margaret w/o __ greisbaum. lorenz good or guth, the time of his death is not known, but it must have been after the year of 1800. lawrence or lorenz r., jr., his sons where lorenz3, peter, daniel l., solomon, henry, john, and adam and 4 daughters. lorenz2 was born in 1743, was married twice, the first to salome dorenifen and 2nd maria dorenifen, he died 1814. his son lawrence3, moved to the west. peter another son of lorenz 2 adam a brother of lorenx2, or son of lorenz, sr, settled near guthsville. children; joseph, henry, george, daniel a., john, jonas, peter and emeline. the family of joseph is scattered and lost. henry had a son aaron and a daughter who married daniel stettler. george married lydia, d/o daniel guth; two daughters were born to them. daniel a., born 1787, died 1861, and had 3 sons, manasses, ephraim and benjamin. john born 1784 had a son gideon.
