nothumberland co. history eisenhart, john h. was born in snyder co. oct 18, 1869, s/o daniel jonas eisenhart, grandfather, was born in berks co. moved to snyder co. he is buried at leck kill. he married polly geist, d/o andrew and christina (snyder)geist. children; willam, died in jefferson co., daniel, john died in nebraska, jonas died in central america, gabriel, died in snyder co., emanuel of phila., pa., lewis died in shamokin, edward died young, lucinda married jacob shankweiler and died at shamokin, sarah, w/o __ starr, caroline. w/o john diehl, died in indiiana, harriet, w/o _ smyder, catharine married daniel thomas, ameliaa married john cooper and one that died in infancy. jonas eisenart had 2 brother, stephen and reuben, both died in shamokin. andew geist and wf., christina snyder, parents of mrs. jonas eisenhart had children as follows; john, george, andrew, daniel, josiah, peter, abraham, elisabeth w/o isaac sheaffer, christina, w/o paul gerhart, susan, w/o fredeich kohler, lydia married mr. bixler, polly married jonas eisenhart, sallie married solomon flack, rebecca married solomon shankweiler and molly married joseph feger.
