My question qould be: "How many miles from Phila. is Sussex Co., DE?" In 1740 there possibly were no boundary lines. And, were the PENNs down there also? And, I am not familiar with that state, except to again ask: When did the DRINKER's buy their land, as my GGGF, David LYON, had some of it. And, as was told me, by a cousin, "Patrick Fitz." father was said to have been James LYON Fitz."
