He may have gone by another name. He is buried in either Barren or Cumberland Co., KY. I did reseasrch on this family severaL years ago. I've gotten back to 1860 with my Hoffman family. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Francis(cus) Hoffman born in Baden Germany in 1822. He married Catharine maiden name unknown. Their children were Josephine (born 1860 married Jacob Bergstresser), Franciscus (born 1863), and William H (born 1865). I've found them in the 1860, 1870 and 1880 census. Dawn N Smith
