    3. Young, Robert W. MD of Slatington. Native of Carbon Co., born Dec 4, 1847. S/o Jacob Young, native of Northampton, died 1851. The mother of Robert W., was Elizabeth Mummey, she was born in Northampton, d/o Jacob Mummery, and she died 1881. Robert W., had two sisters, Mrs. E.A.Kichline and Mrs. A. Birchey Dr. Robert married Aug 29, 1877 to Ella J. R. Kuntz, d/o Moses and Leah (Wert) Kuntz. Children, Lizzie May, Olive Mildred and Ralph W. Mrs. Young was the sister of Henry A. Kuntz, died in a railroad wreck. She is also a sister of Cyrus Kuntz of Allentown. Young, George H., ex-Burgess of W. Bethlehem, was born at Howertown, Northampton, Sept 29,1853, s/o Reuben Young born at Seemsvile. His father, Michael was born in Moore twp, Northampton, where the great-grandfather of George made settlement on emigrating from Germany. Grandfather Young was a weaver by trade. His son Reuben followed that trade. The maiden name of our subject's mother was Julia Neleigh, d/o John, was born in Northampton Co. She departed life in 1891, after rearing ten children. George H., was the youngest. In 1878 George H., married Rebecca T., d/o Daniel Berger. Children; Ada M., Arthur R., Helen A., Marion R. and Beulah I. Young, James, ex-Sheriff of Northampton County. A son of Boyd and Jane (McColm) Young, was born Jan 8, 1830, in County Antrim, Ireland. His father, a native of the same county, engaged in farming there till 1838, when he came with his wife and 5 children to America. He died Jan, 1881, age 80, but his wife died at 57. Members of the Presbyterian Church. In his family where 8 children, our subject being the oldest, and the others are, Gamble, William, Sarah, Eliza, Rose, Thomas and John. Rose died young, and William and Thomas are resident of NY, while others made their home in South Easton. In 1854 Mr. Young married Mary E. Moyer, Children; William of Iowa, Edward, died at 19, and Sarah Jane. Young, Edward M. He was born 24 Sept 1866. His great-grandfather was Christopher Young. His grandfather, Joseph Young, and his father, Edward B. Young, were both native of the Keystone State. The later married Mary Kuhns, d/o Peter of Allentown. On 27 Jan 1891 Edward H., married Kate R. Anewalt, d/o S.B. Anewalt. Young, Asry C., of Pen Argyl. A native of Northampton Co, and was born July 4, 1856, s/o William H., and Sabina (Seigel) Young. Christian Young, grandfather of Asry C., was a native of PA. At one time he srv a County Commissioner of Northampton Co. He was a Lutheran. The grandfather's family consisted of 4 children William H., the father, was born Nov 30, 1832. 7 children were born to William and Sabina Young; Andrew J., Asher W., Alvin, Henrietta, w/o Peter Fehnel, Sarah, w/o Jacob Fehnel, Ellen J., and A.C. A.C., married Dec 28 1879 to Ellen C. Scholl, d/o James and Kate Scholl, of Moore twp. Children; Amy May born 1880, Carrie Alice 1885, Robert Jame 1890 an one who died in infancy Young, Aaron, of Northampton County and one of the capable farmers of Lehigh twp. He was a native of Moore twp, born June 5, 1823, s/o Abraham and Rebecca (Steckel) Young, also natives of this county, which was also the birthplace of Grandfather Jacob Young. Aaron was one in a family of 7 children, of whom the following survive, Lucy, widow of Abraham Meyer, Stephen living in Phila, Elizabeth, w/o Thomas Anthony, Peter J., in Allen township, and Belinda, w/o David Boyer. Aaron married in 1848 to Rebecca Schall, d/o Joseph Schall, of Moore township. Young, William, of Lehigh County, a native of Northampton County, was born in Weaversville, Aug 4, 1825. His father, John Young, was also a native of that county, while his grandfather bore the name of Michael, likewise claimed that locality as the same place of his nativity. The latter was of "Scotch"- Irish decent. John Young died in Seemsville age 73. Member of the Lutheran Church. His wife, Betsey (Deschler) Young was a native of Northampton Co, d/o Peter. William J., was the younger of the two sons .He married Mona Keiper in 1847. Their marriage was celebrated in Bethlehem and they had 6 children, Amand J., Clara, James, Oscar, Milton J., and George W. Members of St.Paul's Lutheran Church. Hanover township-Lehigh Co Young, Christian was a native of Bucks County and came to Hanover about 1800, and opened a store east from the limekilns on the road from Allentown to Bethlehem. In 1812 he opened the Black Horse Tavern which he kept until 1818 when he moved back to Bucks Co. Dr. Samuel Young, of Allentown, was the eldest of his sons. Joseph and William of Allentown, are his sons. Dr. Samuel Young a native of Upper Saucon, who has spoken of as a son-in-law of Dr. Charles Dickenshied, who began practice at Cold Brook, Bucks Co, moved to Milford and in 1872 moved to Allentown, and he died there in 1883 in his 74th year. Dr. Samuel, married a daughter of Dr. Charles F., Dickenshied, and had a son, Oliver, who practiced in Berks Co. Young, Horace D.MD a native of Northampton County. After he left the Army, settled in Mauch Chunk in 1863. He died May 1882 Best Wishes, Geri
