    3. Berks Co Peter Noll Sr. great-great-grandfather of W. Henry, was, according to the Federal census of 1790, a resident of Exeter township. Traidition state he had a large family, some having children having been previously married and having families of their own. Another son of Peter Noll, Sr., besided Peter was Valentine, who in 1790 lived in Alsace township. Peter Noll, son of Peter, married Magdalena Keller and they had children; John, Peter, Henry, Samuel, Jacob, Molly married John Heckman, and Hettie married Daniel Heckman Rothenberger, Francis, was born in 1850 in Muhlenberg township, a son of Samuel and Magdalena (Heckman) Rothenberger. Heckman, Johan George, the pioneer, ancestor of the Heckman family, was born Jan 6, 1748, in Hessen Cassel, Germany and came to America during the Rev. as a soldier in King George's army. After the war with many of his countymen he settled in Alsace township, Berks Co. He maried a woman of foreign birth, Maria Magdalena Hamm, born Aug 16, 1756, died July 6, 1832, who had accompanied her parents to America when quite young, and for many years she lived in a Quaker family. When she had qrown to womanhood she adopted the Quaker style of dress. Children, Samuel born 1783, Peter 1777, George, Adam, John, Daniel, Jacob, William, Magdalena married Henry Schmeck, Susanna, married JOhn Schmeck, Catharine married John Shade, Elizabeth married Peter Betz and Mrs. Nicholas Wagner Best Wishes, Geri
