Northampton Co-Salisbury twp Ritter, Conrad born 29 Sept 1775 died 4 Sept 1798 Ritter, John Christian born 1775 no date of death Ritter, Martin of Upper Milford township, married Margaret Steininger and about 1750 purchased 7 or 8 hundred acres of land in what is now Salisbury township. He died about 1826. He left 6 soms and 1 daughter, Henry, Marin, Jacob, Daniel, John, Michael and Margaret, w/o Solomon Klein, now of Allentown,the only one living (1884). The sons all settled on the original tract of land and died there at advanced ages. Their sons and daughters now living are as follows; Henry Ritter, Rececca, w/o Peter Klein, and Sally, w/o Peter Keck. are of the family of Henry. Of Martin's family, Reuben B., Jacob B., Elisabeth, Salley, Anna, Solomon B., resided in Allentown, John B., Martin B. of S. Whitehall, and Charles B., of Whitehall, Mary Anna w/o Jacob Laudenslager of Emaus. John's family are Reuben K., of Salisbury, Daniel, in Allentown, Levi, of Upper Milford, Martin in S. Bethlehem, Elisabeth, w/o Joseph Kern, of Upper Milford, Matilda and Mary Ann of Allentown. Daniel's family are Gideon, of Emaus, Daniel of Bethlehem, Joel of Coppersburg, Eliza, w/o Roham Shuler, Rebecca, w/o John Seems. Jacob had a son, Nathan, who lived in Macungie. Michael family; Angellina w/o Addison Morry, Amanda, w/o Jacob Hlldebeitel, Aravesta, unmarried, Benjamin of Macungie, Tilghman of Lower Milford, Wilson of Pennsburg and Sylvanus of Emaus.
