Widow applied 1820 Cumberland Co., PA Soldier and widow had married Dec 1779 and they had a daughter Eliza who was born 11 April 1791 and widow stated she live with soldier 7 years. Soldier's daughter Eliza Smith made aff'dt in 1820 in Cumberland Co Dailly, Dennis, PA Line, applied 1818 Washington Co., PA, see War of 1812 files, Old War files. from Carisle, PA. In 1820 soldier had a wife Catharine aged 62 and Children; Elizabeth 32, Joseph, 30, Margaret 27, Jane 24 a and Alex Daily, Elias, Polly, PA Line, soldier applied in 1818 in Ohio and died there 16 April 1820. Soldier was born in the state of NJ. Soldier married Polly Bunnell about 1776, both were raised in Northampton Co., PA. Widow died 15 Sept 1836, a daughter of Rachel Gilson of Middlefied in Geauga Co., Ohio.
