    3. Stickler, Franklin Adam, was born at Limeport, Lehiigh Co., Feb 13 1866, s/o Ezra and Emmaline (BAder) Stickler. The mother was born Dec 16, 1835, Mr. Stickler's ancestors were among the early settlers of PA,his paternal ancestor being Johannes Strickler (Stiegler) who came from Palatinate, Germany, landing in Phila., Sept 29, 1733, in the ship "Pink Mary". Johannes Stiegler's son, John Adam Stiegler, was a soldier in the Rev. from Lancaster Co. On the maternal side the first ancestor coming to these shores was Philip Christian Bader, a Moravian minster, born near Strasburg, in Lower Alsatia, who came to PA in 1751. He served the Moravian congregation in Lancaster and Hebron (near Lebanon). His daughter Justina Eleonora Bader was one of the Moravian Sisters at Bethlehem during the Rev., having charge of the girls chior. Ezra and Emmaline (Bader) Stickler were the parents of 9 children. Chariles H., Pierson M., Franklin Adam, Harvey W., Jacob A., Edward M., William O., Milton E., and Ida A. Franklin Adam Stickler, married Sept 26, 1885 to Emma L. Kemmerer a d/o Daniel L., and Mary (Getter) Kemmerer. Children, Irene M., born 1886, she married Walter A. Wilson. Russell E., born 1889, married Elsie Lawton.
