geri, wouild you try to find harlan absher for me. I have uimpteen spellings for his name, but we cannot seem to make a dent. One John ABSHER was here in Allen Co., possibly from NC or VA, but the families south of the TN line, can make no definiste tie. And, through checking the KY LIbrary in BG, I learned there are many spellings, of which I receive even another spelling Ippinger.I believe UPSHAW/UPSHER anr two of the variations. And there were 4 in Warren co., 1810. But, no one can tie them.
