    3. kurtz, milton, a native of hanover twp.,july 26, 1839, s/o henry kurtz, and grandson of johan george kurtz, who was a native of germany. his great-grandfather, who also bore the name joh george, was likewise born in the fatherland, and was the first of that branch of the family to make his way o the new world. after choosing a location i the countyh he erected a log cabin thereon, and returnd to germany for his family. while he was gone the indians burned his cabin, and he was obliged to erect another before his family could be shelttered. the grandfather of subject also farmed on that place where his death occured at ag 65. he had 5 children, george, henry, subject's father, elisabeth, helena, and susanna. the father was born april 2, 1833, died feb. 5, 1890. member of the lutheran ch. mrs. lydia (schoener) kurtz, mother of subject, was born in shoenersville, mrs. kurtz died july, 1867 milton kurtz was the 6th of 12 childrnn. he married feb. 8, 1863 in allentown to emma d/o moses roth, a native of whitehall, where her father was born. the grandfather of mrs. kurtz, henry roth was of german descent, and was a native of above twp. her mother was mary (nagle) roth, d/o john nagle. children of mr. and mrs. kurtz, oscar h., clara a., milton m.     2. You're not wrong. I think Louise has just confused a <mailing list> with a <message board>. I think she wants to send a message to the people on the <mailing list> without having to reply to another message that someone else sent, and it doesn't seem like she's having any luck. And people keep telling her how to post messages to the Lehigh County <message board>, which is a different animal. The instructions in the FAQ section on the Rootsweb mailing list page indicate that the way to send the message is to address it to palehigh-L@rootsweb.com, which is what I advised her to do. This does not seem to be working for Louise. Anyone know why?
