I am searching for information on a person who was a classmate in Raleigh, NC in 1958. Her Name was Helen Louise DAVIS and she married a KORN. There is a Helen D. KORN listed in the SSDI with the right birth year and state of issue for the SS number. She died 11 June 2001. I am a coordinator for the Broughton Class of 1958, trying to update our records and find our lost, in preparation for our fiftieth reunion. I am hoping to find out with certainty that this is indeed our Helen Louise DAVIS. If anyone can help me please contact me off list at > Hhunterg@cs.com <, as I am not a subscriber to this list. Thank you. Hunter George North Carolina
I found your email on the Stahler family. I am interested in any history and information you may have on Magdalena daughter of Nicholas Stahler and Barbara Baer. If this is the Magdalena I have been researching this may be a connection for me. I believe that she married William Rieser probably around 180-1810. I am hoping that you might send in the direction of proving this to be true. Jane, PA. death records cost $9.00 from the state. You can download & print the necessary form from the state vital records site. It tells you what information you need. Death records are available from 1906 forward. It'd be easier for you to google to get to the web site than if I tried to send that to you. Hope this helps a little. Harte West Catasauqua Thanks to everyone who sent me info on West Catasauqua and the Harte's. Louis K. Harte could be my Lewis K. Harte. Thanks for the census info. I have accumulated atleast four possible maiden names for Sarah A. Harte. Lee, Leh, Baaber, Baader, Bader, Bieber.... How do I successfully find the one that is correct?? Her son's death certificate from 1945 says her maiden name was Lee. Another source says Baaber. Since they are not similar what would be a good move. She was said to be a long time member of the Blue Church. Born 1827. in Pennsylvania. Her children were mostly dead but atleast two died around 1925. Are there good death records for these years..... I have the family for 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880. No census record for her in 1900. (Can't find one). 1895 lived with son Lewis in West Catasauqua. Any ideas???? I have cemetery records for her.... Would anyone have a Peter or Jacob WEAVER who was a fife major in the Revolutionary War? Jacob received bounty land 12 miles west of Philadelphia. The Weavers were in the Philadelphia area, then Bucks/Berks/Northampton county area. Jacob's second son also named Jacob was born in 1773 and married Christina DOUMEYER. I have Lutheran Church records of Jacob and Christina's family in Centre County from 1802-1810 before moving to Newry, Blair County in 1811. I am trying to find the location of Jacob and Peter's families from before the Rev. War to 1800 when I believe they lived in what was the Bucks/Berks/Northampton County area. Thank you for any help on this. Jan Stitz djstitz@sbcglobal.net
