    1. Zeeb
    2. I hope some one can help me. Am trying to find where Johanna G. Zeeb lived while living in Leigh High Co. In the 1853. My great grandfather was born there in 1853. I know he , Johanna, got his citizen ship papers in 1855. But I can't find them in 1860. He married Barbara Weherle around 1850. Since he got his papers in Leigh High Co. in Allentown I would guess he lived in that county. Does any one have an idea how I can find out? Any help would be great. Thanks Lyda Fleehart Loehring

    2. Elisabeth Bastres was born on 13 Apr 1773. Her parents were Philip and Barbara. The birth record can be found in the Records of Zion's Lutheran Church in Lower Macungie Township. The baptismal register begins in 1750. The above info came from Lehigh County Births,by John Humphries. I don't know if this is precisely the Elizabeth you are looking for. She is the only one listed in the birth book. There are no wills listed in my will listing. Patrice

    3. Hi Patrice- I think we must all be cousins!! I have a FRAUDHUEGER-TRACHSEL connection as well. Once again, I don't descend from them directly but instead from a brother of the TRACHSEL. Johannes Peter TRACHSEL (TROXEL) born 6 NOV 1691 in Switzerland, died 1766 in Frederick, MD married Anna Julianna Catharine TRAUTHEGER (FRAUDHUEGER). I don't have dates for her but I do have a list of their children and possibly more. Would love to hear from you. --Larissa On Tue, 26 Aug 1997 pschadt@niven.imsweb.net wrote: > Hi - I am sure glad you started this listed. 3. Hi Judy- I've just been entering my family tree into Brother's Keeper and found a Schreiber-Troxel connection. It belongs to a John Peter TROXEL (b. 3 APR 1719, d.25 JAN 1799) and his second marriage to Catherine Maria Magdalena SCHREIBER (b.1737, d. 1806). I have the names of their children and possibly more if I can find it! (Eventually I will because I want to enter it all.) I don't descend from these people but instead from Peter's brother Michael. Still I wouldn't mind filling in the family tree!! --Larissa OH- I also have a Anna Magdalena ROTH that married Johannes Nicholas TRACHSEL (TROXEL) in 1750. She would be my step 8th great-grandmother! On Tue, 26 Aug 1997, Judy Jackson wrote: > > I am researching the Schreiber line and all other surnames that married > Schreibers. 1. Acker Family History
    2. MacIain
    3. Hi: I'm working on the Acker family history. I have two brothers arriving in Phila on 25 Sept 1732. Heinrich (b1700) and Phillip Jacob Acker (b1692) They were of Sparsbach(?)(near Strassbourg),Germany (France) Alsase Lorraine- Heinrich father of abt 13 children went to Bucks Co (around Harleysville) near Hilltown (one of the founders of Kellers Luth Ch abt 1752 and Phillip father of abt 11) ended up in Northumberland Now Lehigh Near Foglesville. He was one of the founding fathers of the Ziegel Ch. Later moved to Macungie where the water was better for farming there. I have a fair bit of information of Phillip Jacob and his children but have many holes when it comes to the childrens children, and have very little on Heinrich. I have been to Ziegel's Church and obtained lots of info from their records and cemetery. I have not gotten to Kellers Church. The core of the Phillip Acker family has been in the Lehigh,Northampton,Berks Co's ever since. Is anyone else working on these lines? Sure would like to hear from you.

    1. Welcome- - Schreiber surname
    2. Judy Jackson
    3. HI Would like to welcome everyone who has joined my list since It began yesterday. I started this list because most of the research on my father side is in Lehigh Co. In fact he was born in raised in Emmaus Pa. The fact he was in the service for over 25 years I never lived in the area. We visited and I can remember my grandfather and I going and picking watercrest under the railroad bridge. Going around the corner to the drug store for a soda. etc. I am researching the Schreiber line and all other surnames that married Schreibers. Have some information back to John Jacob Schreiber who came to the area in 1733. If you have a Schreiber in your line I would like to hear from you so we can share information. Again thanks for joining the list Judy Jackson (new as a listowner so please bare with me if I make goofs.) Some of the lines I am researching besides Schreiber Roth-Kern-Troxell-Deshler-Mickley-Fencile-Leisenring ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
