I'm looking for parents of Henry Grove m Hannah Leisenring 4 Jan. 1809. Henry born c. 1787 and died 9 Apr. 1874 in NY. Had siblings John, Frank, Betsey, Sarah and Samuel. Because of circumstantial evidence I've wondered if it might be Adam Grove? Would also like any information available on Adam, born 1760-65. Also interested in info on John Sebastian Leisenring, 1762-1843. He's know to have been a potter. Is there documentation of any of his pottery? Susan Patt patt@pe.net 40471 Reed Valley Rd. Hello All! I have begun to post the genealogy of Henry Hertzel of Upper Milford Twp., Lehigh Co., PA. This is being done without the use of a genealogy program, so no GEDCOM is available. I feel that a straight HTML format is much more flexible in the long run. I will continue to add to it untill it is all posted. When all I have is posted, I will remove the "Under Construction" text from the title. I encourage you to look it over, and inform me of any additions or corrections that need to be made. I want it to be as accurate & complete as possible. Here is the URL: http://www.friendlynet.com/stevehartzell/har-gen.htm and as always, my homepage: The Seneca Hartzell History Links http://www.friendlynet.com/stevehartzell/sen-hart.htm Thank you all for your help & support! Here's a message that came from James Gilbert County Coordinator for Lehigh County, Pa. Judy List Manager Date: Sun, 28 Jun 1998 21:36:41 -0700 From: "James M. Gilbert" <jmgil@erols.com> Reply-To: jmgil@erols.com To: Judy Jackson <judjack@hotmail.com> Subject: Re: [PALEHIGH -L] Also, a general announcement... I just put a new query system (QExpress) on the Lehigh County GenWeb page; and one option was to allow all queries to be posted to a mail board with open posting... I did list this board; if this gets to be to much traffic; let Judy know, and if she requests I remove this board from the query mail, I will... Thought it might be helpful to everyone, if you got new queries via e-mail... In a message dated 98-06-21 05:55:28 EDT, you write: << I'm looking for anyone that may have as many as one Acker in their family research (that one may be the one I need to help fill a gap). I'm following two brothers Heinrich b 1700 settled at Rockhill (then Bucks now Berks) and Philip Jacob b 1696 (my line) settled near Fogelsville (one of the founders of Ziegel Ch) later moved near Macungie (the water was better for farming). Both arrived aboard the "Loyal Judith" 25 Sept 1732. If you have one Acker or a bunch let's trade information. Earl Acker MacIain@prodigy.net >> I have a Lydia Schmidt, daughter of Adam Schmidt and Maria Gertrude Acker, in my family. Lydia was baptized at Ziegel Church in 1843. Lydia married Tilghman Seip. This is my only Acker connection. Anything sound familiar? Sheri Bsballmom@aol.com
