Have information that Adam REINHART(D) is buried at subject church (at Zionsville) and that his tombstone was still readable in 1979 but was replaced before 1985. Would like to contact someone that might be able to determine who had the stone replaced so could contact them for more information. Any suggestions? Thanks Gerald Key gikey@cyberstation.net

Howard, My great-great-grandmother was a HAGGERTY by the name of Mary. She married Michael J. KELLY, and they lived in South Bethlehem, where he worked at Beth Steel, then owned the Junction Hotel in S. Bethlehem. I have been able to find out that Mary and her family came over from Bandontown, County Cork, Ireland sometime between 1862 and 1900. Iknow she had a younger sister named Catherine, and her parents were Daniel and Mary HAGGERTY. Their name was probably misspelled when they came over from Ireland (most likely HEGERTY). If there is a connection, I would really like to exchange information! I am searching for some long lost cousins. Norman Holmes, b. 1913 in PA d. 1984 Melbourne?, FL. Had at least 2 sons with Vera (Boerstler?). Norman graduated from Easton High School in 1929, and may have been in the service for a while after that. He lived in Easton, PA and worked in Allentown until about 1949 when he moved to FL. At that time his older son was graduating and about to join the Navy. Have no clues as to what the sons names were. Norman was the son of Guy and Lizzie Holmes. Guy Holmes lived in Easton, PA untill about 1935, and was involved in many of the local organizations including Eagles, VFW, and American Legion. I would appreciate any help finding Norman's sons or decendents. Have had no word about them since Uncle Guy died in 1951, in Bellingham, WA. Thanks for any help! I just returned from a visit with my daughter in Allentown where we researched my grandmothers family of LICHTENWALLNER. I gained a wealth of information there. My common ancestor is Abraham Lichtenwalter, the 6th child of Johannes and Barbara ___ Lichtenwallner. I visited the Jordan Lutheran Church and found his brother Johannes II there. In my research, I came across a family of BAER, which interests me. Abraham's son Daniel Lichtenwalter married a Rachel Baer in Stark Co., Ohio in 1814 and I've never been able to trace anything about her. I have been unable to locate in Baers in Ohio and think maybe the Lichtenwalner and the Baer families knew each other in PA. One cemetery plot at the Jordon Lutheran Church has five Baers, but with the name spelled four different ways (Baer, Barr, Bair, Bear) The History of Lehigh Valley says the original Lichtenwallner homestead passed into the hands of Peter BEAR. So I'm trying to trace that family to see whether it might be my Rachel's. I'd be delighted to hear from anyone researching these names in Lehigh, Berk or Whitehall.
