Jim & Dolores, I just wanted to let you know that I got you message. This list does not get a lot of activity. I gues the Lehigh Valley just isn't the hotbed of genealogical activity. It kind of goes in spurts. Unfortunately, I am not researching any of those surnames. Good luck in your search! Hi All, This week end, due to an extremely nice gentleman in KS, I have a little more info regarding my GGGrandfather SAMUEL EDWIN LOWE listed below. New Info: SAMUEL E. LOWE Born in Lehigh Co. PA Dec. 1937 Died Dec. 5, 1904. Enlisted in 25 Reg. Penn. Cal. Co. M Feb. 28, 1865. Mustered out at Lynchburg, VA July 8, 1865 Sam and his 2nd family apparently moved to KS between 1886-1888 where he lived until his death. I now suspect that some of his siblings also moved to KS in that same time-frame as well. Why? Perhaps now, someone of you might be able to add to the mystery. 1-MICHAEL LOWE (abt 1800-bet 1860/1870 Perry Co, PA) sp: HANNAH (bet 1812/1814-aft 1870 Perry Co, PA) [Have been unable to locate Michael's probate records as yet.] 2-SAMUEL EDWIN LOWE (Dec 1837 Lehigh Co, PA-5 Dec 1905 Lyon Co, KS) sp 1: ELIZABETH A. Searching for Diehl and Druckenmiller of Lehigh Co. Would like to share and compare with any one researching these surnames. Thank you. Danette Blyleven
Hi Its been some time since I posted who I was researching. Looking for any SCHREIBER that are descendants of John Jacob Schreiber who came to the USA from Alsace on the ship Hope. Some of the Families that they married into were ROTH, DESHLER, MICKLEY, BALLIETT, LEISENRING, TROXELL, FRANKENFIELD, SNYDER, KERN to name a few. Also trying to see if there is a conncetion between John Jacob and Andreas Schreiber/Shriver not sure when he came to the USA but was before 1733 maybe around 1727. As several families of Schreiber/Shrivers who came late settled near Andreas in and around York and Lancaster counties. It has been suggested in the Colonial and Revolutionary Families of Pennslvania that the Schreibers/Shrivers were related and either cousins, nephews or both. Thanks Judy homepage http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ranch/1006 can also be reached at judjack@rocketmail.com ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

Christopher Sunday born 1756 married Anna Christina Backert lived in Greenwich Township Berks Coutny PA per 1790 Census. Need copies pages from Volume 1 Lehigh County History - title page along with pages 154 & 159 showing Revolutionary War service of Christopher Sunday. I need this proof since all I have is a written page saying Mr. Sunday was an Eighth Class Private in the Third Battalion of the Sixth Company of the Militia of Northampton County which then comprised that section of Lehigh country where they lived. Can be faxed to 925 462-8658 or email for street address. Since I do not have access to Pennsylvania publications - any information is greately appreciated. Thank you in advance for any and all help.
Ivanna, I must have copied your Web Site address incorrectly. Can you give it to me again. Thanks, Anna in AZ.
Has anyone tried this? I found a book listed that supposedly has some information that I've been searching for; but don't have access to this site. If someone has access, could they check for a listing for me? Would it be worth it to check into? Trying to determine the parents and birth place for Solomon SEIBERT / SEIVERT who was born 1778 in Berks Co.. Some of his children were baptized at the Mertz Church in Dryville, Rockland Township. Also trying to determine the same info for his wife Anna Maria SCHEIRER / SCHEURER. When these relatives left PA in the 1830's, they were living in Lehigh County.
