Boyer, 91, of the ECC Retirement Village, formerly of Main Street, Newmanstown, died Thursday, April 23,1998, in Lebanon's Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of the late Ida M. Weirich Boyer, who died July 19,1981. Born May 1,1906, in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Floyd E. and Jeanette Heilig Boyer. He was a retired checker for the former Publix Shirt County, Myerstown, a member of the Freiden's Lutheran Church, Myerstown, and a WW2 veteran. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Clarence W. Boyer, of the ECC Retirement Village, and formerly of Main Street, Myerstown, were held Wednesday, April 29,1998, in the New Union Cemetery, Myerstown. He was the husband of the late Ida M. Weirich Boyer. Vicor Ann Schlossnagle of Freiden's Lutheran Church officiated. Relatives and friends served as pallbearers. Christman's Funeral Home, Lebanon, handled arrangements.
