Hi, Evelyn, Sorry to say, I have no record of a Mary Shearer in any of my lines. My gggrandfather's sister, Catherine Shearer, married a man named John Nees and moved to Tazewell County, IL, but that's as close as I can come. My Shearers were primarily in Lancaster County; one branch of the family lived in the Annville area of Lebanon County, right across the line from Lancaster County, and part of the family was de facto part of Dauphin County when it was carved off of Lancaster after the Revolutionary War.
