    3. Bomgardner, John, was born in Lebanon county, July 20, 1842, s/o George S. and Rebecca (Zeiker) Bomgardner. George S. was born in Lebanon county Sept., 1810. He was a shoemaker. He married Rebecca Zeiker, born in Lebanon county in 1808. Children; Catharine the wife of Joseph Kline, Abraham, Mary A., the wife of Joseph Stoner, Gideon, Louisa, John, William, David of Nebraska, George, William, and Ellen the wife of Dr. ____ Early. Stahle, Noah L., was born in East Hanover township, Dauphin Co., May 20, 1845. He was the s/o Jacob and Lydia (Leob) Stahle. His grandfather were both natives of Germany. They had two children; Gotlieb and Jacob. Jacob, married Lydia Leob, born in Dauphin county, children; John, Amanda, wife of Jeremiah Gossert, Mary the wife of James Witman, Louisa, second wife of James Witman, Henry, William, Annie, the wife of David Demming, Noah L., and Sarah the wife of Joseph Lingle. Noah L., married May 4, 1874 to Sarah E., d/o Samuel and Elizabeth (Kerr) Landis. Children; Minnie, the wife of George Kline, Robert L., Sadie V.,and Charles N. Samuel Landis, father of Sarah E., was born in Dauphin county, he married Elizabeth Kerr by whom he had 4 children; Sarah wife of N.L. Stahle, John, Clara, wife of John Snyder, Minnie the wife of Martin Capp. Withers, Samuel G., was born in Lebanon county, Dec 20, 1846, a s/o Samuel and Anna (Werher) Withers. The grandfather, George Withers married _____Lutz, by whom he had 8 children. Samuel Withers was born in Lancaster county, Jan 12, 1819, he married in 1844 to Anna, d/o Jacob and Anna (Thomas) Werner, born in Lebanon county. Jacob Werner maternal grandfather of Samuel G. Withers, married Anna Thomas, and had children; Henry, Jacob, John, David, Joseph, Bessie, Sarah and Anna. Mr. Werner spent his life in Lebanon county, he died at age 65. Hoerner, John, was born in West Hanover, Dauphin county, April 17, 1813, son of Major John and Magdalena (Ebersole) Hoerner. Andrew Hoener, grandfather, was a native of German. Major John Hoener, was born in 1783, he served in the War of 1812. Major Hoener married in 1805 to Magdalena Ebersole, a native of Dauphin county. Children; John, Louisa, Barbara the wife of Henry Yingst, Peter, Albert, Jacob born in 1807, Andrew, David, born 1811, Ellen, Maggie born Dec 25, 1815, marrid John Nunnemacher, died in 1864. Major Hoener died at the age of 92. Member of the Lutheran church. John Hoener, marred Nov 11, 1841 to Mary d/o Mary d/o Barnhard and Sarah (Wombech) Rauch. Eshleman, John, of Highspire, PA., was born in Lancaster county, Nov 26, 1842. He was the son of Abraham and Susan (Ebersole) Eshleman, natives of Lancaster county. Fischer, John L., of Steelton, PA., was born in Berks county, April 27, 1845 and the son of William and Catharine (Levan) Fisher. The father came to Dauphin county in 1848 and located in Swatara township. Simmons, Robert Alonza, was born June 16, 1846, s/o Robert and Priscillia Amelia (Bricker) Simmons. He married Feb. 20, 1870, to Martha L., d/o Benjamin and Catharine (Books) Lehman Romberger, Bengohan, was born in Mifflin township, Dauphin county, on Jan 17, 1821. His grandfather, Baltzer Romberger, was the son of a German settler in Lancaster co., He married in Lebanon county to ___ Bricker. They had 9 children. Rapp, W. H., of Union Deposit, was born in Bucks county, April 5, 1858, s/o Charles Augustua and Eva (Mease) Rapp Mader, Daniel E., was born in Lower Paxton, in 1842, s/o Amos and Elizabeth (Zarker) Madder. He married at age 21 on Dec 13, 1862 to Fannie, d/o Jacob and Rebecca (Young) Warner. Jacob and Rebecca (Young) Warner, had a family of 9 children; Jacob died at 2, John, went West., William who died at age 54, and Sarah who died at age 44, Christian lived in MO., Elizabeth who married John Blessley, of Lebanon county, David of Penbrook, PA., and Fannie who married D.E. Mader. Hoerner, Isaac R., of Progress, PA., was born in South Hanover, Jan 25, 1845. He was the son of John and Mary (Rauch) Hoerner Isaac R., married Dec 31, 1872 to Anna M. Bittner, d/o Joseph and Susan (Long) Bittner. Riegel, Samuel, was born in Dauphin county July 15, 1842, son of Jacob and Matilda (Hummel) Riegel. His paternal grandparents were native of PA., on the maternal side the grandparents were Susan and John Hummel. Jacob Riegel, father of Samuel , was born in Dauphin county, on May 6, 1810 and died Oct 22, 1883 Samuel Riegel, married April 7, 1863 too Sarah d/o George Washington Cassel. Attick, Daniel, born in York county, Dec 15, 1821, s/o Peter and Catharine (Sudden) Attrick. His maternal grandfather, John Sudden, was a native of York county, a soldier of the Rev. war. Hoerner, Albert, of Steelton, was born in South Hanover township, Dauphin county, July 7, 1825, s/o John and Magdalena (Ebersole) Hoerner. The parents were born in South Hanover township. The grandfather Hoener was born in Prussia, April 19, 1743, and in company with 4 others members came to this family came to America about 1780, settling first near Hummelstown, subsequently removing to South Hanover, dying there Oct 10, 1821.
