Hello, Can anyone help me in how to go about obtaining birth dates for people born in Annville, Pa. during the 1800's? The wife was of Lutheran religion. I have thrown these names out there before and no one except Linnea Miller was able to help me. I have in the past contacted the local government offices but they did not have records that early. I tried contacting the Lutheran Church headquarters but they were of no help. Records would be for: Leonard or Leonhardt Syler (Sailer) and wife Catherine Yingst. They had 8 children. dates start 1859 through 1883. Place of residence was Annville, PA. Can anyone help me please? Thanks Bonnie

Try contacting or finding a copy of the Records of the Hill (Quittapahila)Lutheran Church of Annville, available LDS, some libraries. Lebanon County Hist Society has it. My Hill Church book of burials shows 20 Yingst's buried there,which suggests that may be a good place to start.
